When outdoors, you and your baby will frequently attract stares from onlookers. If this makes you uncomfortable, remember to bring a blanket to cover the casts or bar and boots. Carrying the child in a back-pack type sling works very well with minimal adaptation of the sling. When using a stroller or buggy, it is helpful to remove the bar at the front so that it is easy to get the child in or out. The car seat usually does not require changing and day-time treatment will be only for 2-3 months so changing a pram is not really worth it.
